I don't know kpackage, but from the command line, try apt-get install packagename/unstable
or
aptitude install packagename/unstable
where packagename is the package you want, i.e. konsole or ktorrent.
Note that
1) dependencies may pull in more packages than you want
2) you have to be a bit proactive about security since there is no
sid-security team.
