No sound after the update

Hi.  Sound was working for me with the 4.1beat1(4.0.0.80) but after the 
4.0.0.82 update it's no longer working.  mixer looks ok.  Any ideas?  My 
mobo card is an AsusM2NPV-VM.  It has the  nVidia Corporation MCP51 High 
Definition Audio (rev a2)
