Well, I updated to 4.2.1 yesterday and the experimental and unstable repos were 
ok, although not all the packages had been uploaded. ¿You are sure your 
sources.list file is correctly configured and that you have made an "aptitude 
update" before trying to upgrade?
I can't tell you much more since the procediment I have always followed with 
success is the one I've mentioned before, I don't even have upgraded all my 
system to Sid.

Wait to see what experts have to say I think is the only option, :-/.
