thank you for your fast answer. I understand your arguments and therefore I am not going to publish these packages (except maybe to one or two friends of mine, but not publicly). You write that in many cases the biggest difference is the version number. What about the fixes that the KDE changelog mentions for KMail? I am primarily building these packages because of these fixes. Are they already incorporated as patches into the 4.2.2 Debian packages?
