Good call. Here I'm running two cartoons, colour picker, weather and remember-the-milk (compiled from HEAD). They are on all 6 desktops (ie. not set different for each desktop). I'm seeing general weirdness, of course, and I don't mean to hijack your thread here - but having just trawled through my .xsession-errors to look for problems, and discovering Very Many, I'm starting to think there's a lot of contributing factors to the instability and strangeness. xorg updates are coming through less often, but they aren't always entirely stable, and they seem to affect some applications more than others, which is just bizarre. About an hour ago I came back to my machine to find that in the previous hour it had spontaneously restarted KDM - it does this once every few days (even after an uptime of only an hour or so). I've attached the last bit of my .xsession-errors here. It looks like chrome is part of the problem, but firefox / iceweasel may be a bigger culprit here. I love the understated nature of the error message 'trouble ahead'. Memory errors seem inappropriate given 2 / 2.5 GB ram / swap and only 200mb of swap in use.
