Hello, Could somebody of the people that experience keyboard problems with the arrows after upgrading to 4.5.1 please collect this information and either attach it to the report directly or send it to me? I have filed this bug report upstream but unfortunately I cannot reproduce the problem myself.
What you need to do is this: - Log into kde 4.5.1. Arrows should not work. - Run: xkbcomp :0 -xkb out.xkb - Run: setkxbmap -keycodes evdev (arrows should now work) - Run: xkbcomp :0 -xkb out2.xkb - Send me (or attach to the report) the out.xkb and out2.xkb files. Thanks in advance, George ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Andriy Rysin <[email protected]> Date: Wed, Sep 15, 2010 at 4:24 PM Subject: [Bug 251125] evdev-managed keyboard doesn't work To: [email protected] https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=251125 --- Comment #1 from Andriy Rysin <arysin gmail com> 2010-09-15 15:24:34 --- Could you please attach output from this command twice xkbcomp :0 -xkb out.xkb Once when keys don't work right and once they do after -keycodes command. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You reported the bug. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
