Hi, my mouse disappeared, too. After the last update, some days ago.
System: Debian squeeze, up-to-date so far. Kernel 2.32.5 JVC mini-notebook I am not able to downgrade, because no packages left to downgrade. I don't remember exactly what packages were updated. The packages in the cache with date march 23rd have nothing to do with mouse etc. No error loggings at all. But: It seems as it has nothing to do with KDE, because with Gnome it is the same!
