Now that indexing for Desktop Search apparently works for me, I see a growing number of lines like the following in ~/.xsession-errors
Error: Directory NikonPreview with 21313 entries considered invalid; not read. Error: Directory Olympus with 3584 entries considered invalid; not read. Error: Directory Olympus with 3584 entries considered invalid; not read. ... I don't have either directory anywhere in my filesystem so I'm wondering what is causing them. Also, I don't have a camera attached right now.
