Hi there, new here. I decided to give the qt-kde.debian.net repo a try from 4.8.4 off of the Debian Sid repo, and so far everything is solid. The only discrepancies I've found have been my workspace selection being reset to the first one (which isn't that much of a problem), and the battery monitor widget not providing a timer anymore...
