Wanted to say thank you again for the work that went into getting Plasma 6 on
Debian.

I had one quick question. I noticed a few KDE apps are still old versions. Two
that have affected my daily workflow are Ark and Gwenview. These are both 23.x
versions that rely on older libs.

The issue with Ark is that the "extract to..." context menu (when right
clicking an archive file) in Dolphin is missing now, presumably because
whatever mechanism apps use to register context menus in the new Dolphin
24.08.0 is not done by the old Ark 23.08.5.

The other small issue is that while HEIC thumbnail previews work in Dolphin
24.08.0, HEIC files stopped opening in Gwenview 23.04.2. The fix was to install
the older 5 series version of kimageformat-plugins since the old Gwenview can't
read the new kimageformat6-plugins lib. With both versions of
kimageformat-plugins everything works.

I can see newer versions of these packages in experimental and was wondering
when they might move to sid and then onto testing. Hope this report helps as
well.

Thank you!
