Package: kernel-package
Version: 8.092
Severity: minor
Hi,
I am not sure wether this is a bug or normal behavior, but I get some
warning/errors while installing a packaged 2.6.8-rc2-mm1:
Setting up kernel-image-2.6.8-rc2-mm1-bee-1 (1) ...
cpio: /etc/modprobe.conf: No such file or directory
cpio: /lib/modules/modprobe.conf: No such file or directory
Searching for GRUB installation directory ... found: /boot/grub .
I don't recall these cpio lines in previous installs. Could it be the
fact that I have none of these files on my fresh new system?
I hope this is related to kernel-package, but I guess this could be a
problem with module-init-tools or modutils.
Regards,
