If you are talking about this: http://softwaresuspend.berlios.de/ then I don't think we're talking about the same sort of "suspend". If you check the kernel configuration that I posted above, you will find: # CONFIG_SOFTWARE_SUSPEND is not set # CONFIG_PM_DISK is not set The "suspend" I'm talking about is, I believe, just a plain old APM suspend, invoked by closing the lid on my notebook PC.
