Really sure? $ apt-cache show kernel-source-2.6.8 | grep libqt Suggests: libncurses-dev | ncurses-dev, kernel-package, libqt3-dev I never had libqt3-dev installed (use deprecated). make xconfig works fine with libqt3-mt-dev. So I suggest for kernel-source s/libqt3-dev/libqt3-mt-dev/.
