Hi, First, I'd like to thank you for your job on the kernel.
Then, I make a request : Adding OSD Support for av7110 based cards. Why ? Because we, users of VDR and other dvb based programs need the OSD. Without it we can't use the card, because it makes nonsense. We are a lot of Debian users to use VDR in the VDR Mailing list http://linuxtv.org/mailinglists/vdr/ and the DVB drivers Mailing List http://linuxtv.org/mailinglists/linux-dvb/ wishing you add that feature in the kernel by default because a lot of us have to recompile the kernel only to add that feature. I would add that in the dvb-kernel CVS, the OSD Suppport is now set by default (http://linuxtv.org/mailinglists/vdr/2004/09-2004/msg00037.html). Is there any reason not to add that feature in the kernel binaries ? Regards, Pierre ERRAUD
