Dear maintainers,

Will investgating nfsv4 (with kerberos) problems in noticed the following.

The Debian Package Tracker site for nfs utils is unable to get te latest
version.
See: https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/nfs-utils

The latest nfs-utils is now 2.2.1.
https://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/utils/nfs-utils/2.2.1/

For libnfsidmap the same.
https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/libnfsidmap latest shows 0.25.

libnfsidmap 0.27 is already some time released and this one should help with
the nfs v4 kerberised problems.
For that one, i was able to create an new package, buildlogs can be found here.
1 lintian override 0 errors.
https://downloads.van-belle.nl/samba4/Buildlogs/stretch-experimental/

These are available through my apt if you want to adapt them.
The package incl. source can be found here :
https://apt.van-belle.nl/debian/pool/main/libn/libnfsidmap/

I e-mailed to both mainter adresses because the packages are related to one
other for the nfsv4 setups.
Now im having trouble getting nfs-utils 2.2.1 build, its (for me) a big change
and im not a coder.

If someone could help out, then im able to test the nfsv4 kerberized mounted
homedirs agains samba 4.6 and 4.7
This worked but broke, and im unable to find out why/when it exact happend.
It started in jessie, updated to stretch but that did not resolv it.
Im tracing this for months already and updateing nfs-utils to 2.2.1 may help a
lot.

Debian wiki about nfsv4 is outdated for debian stretch.
If i can help out somewhere else, i'll do my best to help out.
I can review bug reports and help out there something i also do for the samba
maintainers.

I really hope someone can help out here, because this will help lots of users
since more and more preffer a secure nfs.

Best regards,
