Version: 2.5.5-1
I have Debian Wheezy (stable) installed with all the
latest updates on a Lenovo T400. I have cifs-utils installed and the T400
connects to network shares on a windows pc.
When the laptop wakes up
from suspend to ram and I then try to access a CIFS shares, it freezes.
Any program that tries to read/write to the CIFS share freezes. It stays
frozen for about 5 minutes before finally working. This happens 90% of
the time. Before upgrading to Wheezy, I never had this problem. The
first request and any subsequent requests for a CIFS share freezes the
program trying to access the share. For an example, if I start the
laptop but only access the CIFS share 5 hours later.....it will cause
the freeze. It will only unfreeze and work after a 5 minute freeze...and
then all requests start working fine until the next time I suspend to
RAM.

without resolution.

- the current version in unstable/testing
- the latest kernel from backports
