Package: cifs-utils
Version: 2:5.5-1
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
I have laptop with KDE desktop, using WiFi network configured with
NetworkManager (KDE GUI).
I have mounted Windows shared folder like this:
\\192.168.1.2\Users\Public /media/public cifs
rw,iocharset=utf8,credentials=/home/vincas/.samba_credentials,nosetuids,file_mode=0777,dir_mode=0777
0 0
Earlyer, when I was using LAN connection, I don't recall having this problem.
Now with WiFi, I have to wait for quite a few minutes while shutting down
/rebooting as it hangs just after stopping rsyslogd.
I've attached last syslog lines, you can see that NetworkManger is terminated,
and unmounting happens later after that, where it hangs and later prints this
message:
CIFS VFS: Server 192.168.1.2 has not responded in 300 seconds. Reconnecting...
After that system powers down successfully.
