--- Begin Message ---Package: src:linux Version: 4.2.5-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, I realized this problem that no sound over a DisplayPort of Onelink Pro Dock with newer version of linux kernel. I tested several versions of the kernel and only linux-image-3.16.0-4-amd64 works fine. linux-image-4.2.0-1-amd64 and linux-image-4.3.0-trunk-amd64 does not detects sound function of DP correctly. "pactl list sinks" says that HDMI is available on 3.16.0-4-amd64 but on 4.2.0-1-amd64 and 4.3.0-trunk-amd64, it says not available. In addition, this thing is only happened with the dock (Onelink Pro Dock). This thinkpad also has miniDP and HDMI and over these ports, sound works and pactl said available. -- Package-specific info: ** Kernel log: boot messages should be attached ** Model information
