Dear Maintainer,
I have installed debian-testing on an intel-baytrail-system (hp pavilion x2 10,
model 2015) using the multiarch image (64 bit OS, 32 bit UEFI). Installation
was fine, however when booting the system, the system seems to freeze when
changing from simplefb to inteldrmfb.
After waiting for ar least 10 minutes, I can access the system again,
everything works fine. There are two corresponding traces in the system log
after 10 minutes. This behaviour can be reproduced on every boot (see
attachment).
As a tempory solution, I am using the "nomodeset" parameter, resulting in a
weak and limited X-Server, but no 10 minutes delay. I have also compiled a
4.3.0 kernel - leading to exactly the same behaviour. Finally, I installed 32
bit OS - with no difference.
I would expect no black screen for 10 minutes.
