Package: systemd
Version: 215-10
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
I'm running Debian Jessie on a Dell M4800 mobile workstation. I recently
switched from ALSA to Pulse audio (big mistake!).
Ever since, I was having trouble with suspending my laptop. The system would go
to sleep, but after about three secons auto-resume.
After fiddling with this for some time, I noticed that after removing ALSA the
pcspkr module was auto-loaded at boot. Removing
the module via rmmod allows the system to resume properly again. Re-inserting
the module reproduces the problem, so I am fairly
sure that the pcspkr module is the culprit.
I blacklisted pcspkr in modprobe.d (like it is automatically done when using
alsa) and I'm fine. Nonetheless, I thought I'd report this
to save someone else some debugging time, maybe.
Thanks!

Hi
This bug was filed for a very old kernel or the bug is old itself
without resolution.
If you can reproduce it with
- the current version in unstable/testing
- the latest kernel from backports
please reopen the bug, see https://www.debian.org/Bugs/server-control
for details.
Regards,
Salvatore
