Package: kernel
Version: 4.19.0-16-amd64
Bug Description: My USB keyboard (Logitec Illumunate Keyboard / K740) is not
recognized when I login (username / password) to Debian.
This problem only occurs if the keyboard is not used at boot when Grub 2
displays the choice of OS and the automatic 10 seconds countdown is allowed to
load Debian.
Consequence you have to restart your machine until you understand how to do it,
so that your USB keyboard is recognized and that you can finally enter your
username and password to connect to your PC ;-(
This bug occurs when the PC Bios is configured by default. If you change the
following parameters then you can bypass it => USB configuration => Intel xHCI
Mode => Smart Auto switched to > Auto or Enable.
Best regards.
Philippe
