Alright thank you for confirming that. Would it be possible that you as well build the kernel with https://git.kernel.org/linus/bea2662e7818e15d7607d17d57912ac984275d94 applied on top to see if this resolved the issue? https://kernel-team.pages.debian.net/kernel-handbook/ch-common-tasks.html#s4.2.2 gives the simple patching and building guide.
