I am suspecting sometime after Bookworm is released in June. Certainly bookworm is using 6.1 kernel (which is a longterm support kernel, which 6.2 isn't). So the kernel version isn't changing until the next release (typically in 2 years or so if the past is anything to go by). Testing and unstable will of course get a new kernel much sooner than that. I would be surprised if support for a new network chip version was backported to the 6.1 stable tree. Usually only bug fixes get ported there. -- Len Sorensen
