Package: firmware-amd-graphics Version: 20240709-2~bpo12+1 Severity: important X-Debbugs-Cc: g0tsbc...@mozmail.com
Dear Maintainer, Since I upgraded my firmware-linux package from bookworm-backports (which includes an upgrade for firmware-amd-graphics), I noticed some new graphical issues: * Sometimes a horizontal bar glitches with black and green when SDDM is first loaded. * For no clear reason, KDE Plasma Desktop (5.27) animations randomly become choppy and stay like that until I logout then login. * In games under high load, I may get a brief white (sometimes black) frame then continue normally. My hardware configuration includes: Ryzen 7 7735HS + Radeon 680M (iGPU) + Radeon 7700S (dGPU) I have switcheroo-control installed to use the Integrated graphics all the time except for the occasional gaming session (with DRI_PRIME=1) Unfortunately, I have no clue on how to fix or try to mitigate this issue. -- System Information: Debian Release: 12.9 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.11.10+bpo-amd64 (SMP w/16 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled firmware-amd-graphics depends on no packages. firmware-amd-graphics recommends no packages.
