   * What led up to the situation?
   My Logitech Inc. QuickCam Communicate STX USB Webcam 046d:08d7 can't
   use USB 2.0, although the manufacturer says it supports it. It is not
   a hardware problem, I have the same camera 2 times and I tried
   different port and computers. It even happens on different machines.
   The port definitely supports USB 2.0, I have verified that with
   another USB device.

   That causes that the bandwidth is not enough for the higher
   resolutions. This results in a faulty image in certain applications
   like Firefox or Microsoft Edge.

     The camera should use USB 2.0 to provide enough bandwidth.
