Hi!

Trying to run the buster (10.0.0) installer via netboot on an arm64
server (HiSilicon D05), the machine boots the installer OK using PXE
(so we definitely have the interfaces connected and
working!). However, later on netcfg can't find a carrier on any of the
network interfaces.

I'm going to dig into this further and see if I can make any progress
to see what's up. For reference, Ubuntu 18.04.01 seems to work fine on
the same hardware (kernel 4.15.0-58).

Cheers,

Steve McIntyre

Hi

This bug was filed for a very old kernel or the bug is old itself
without resolution.

If you can reproduce it with

- the current version in unstable/testing
- the latest kernel from backports

please reopen the bug, see https://www.debian.org/Bugs/server-control
for details.

Regards,
Salvatore
