that is the rootfs isn't found or something similar I guess? Does that
shift the problem into one that you can solve alone or that you are able
to provide more info about?

Do I understand correctly that the kernel boots just fine if you operate
grub in text mode only?

The kernel log in your report contains a warning related to pcmcia. Is
that related to your problem? (Maybe try blacklisting the pcmcia kernel
module?)
