The problem of frequent reporting of 0% capacity has begun reoccurring, currently with the kernel from linux-image-6.16.8+deb14-amd64. However: it also seems that the battery health has deteriorated, since it is currently not able to provide power for the laptop for more than 10 minutes or so. This makes me think that the deterioration of the battery itself may be the cause of the unusual capacity reporting; as a result, I'm tempted to close this bug since I doubt that a software fix could improve the situation here.
