My particular use-case is such that 'ddcutil' can issue commands over
the Display Data Channel (DDC), which does not work as
long CONFIG_DRM_AMD_DC is enabled.
Or do you mean that the 'amdgpu.dc' parameter deprecated? If not, then
it's a regression that should be fixed.
