Dear Maintainer,

I have rather a lot of USB devices dangling from a USB 4 port on my laptop (see
details below). Starting around 6.18.15 (possibly earlier), I get an Oops/GPF 
when
disconnecting the whole Christmas tree of devices. (That's usually when I pack 
up to go,
so it usually coincides with suspend/resume, but the logs make me think it's 
the USB
disconnect.) Here's the log leading up to the crash:

I fed all of this to Claude, which had this possibly-relevant analysis:

The oops gives away the bug immediately. RDI (the `strlen` argument) holds
`0x65642f3d454d414e` — that value appears identically in RBX, RDI, R13, and the 
fault
address. Decoding it as little-endian ASCII:

So the kernel passed a pointer containing the literal bytes of the string
`"NAME=/de..."` — almost certainly the beginning of a uevent environment string 
like
`NAME=/dev/...` — as if it were a pointer. This constitutes a classic 
use-after-free or
bad-pointer scenario: `kernfs_name_hash` called `strlen` on a kernfs node's 
name field
that had already been freed or was never properly initialized, and the freed 
memory
happened to contain ASCII text.

## Root Cause

This looks like a known race in the `typec_ucsi` / `typec` stack where
`ucsi_unregister_partner` attempts to remove a kernfs node for a partner that 
was
never fully registered (or whose registration got torn down already). The 
partner's
`kernfs_node` name pointer ends up dangling or garbage.
