When upgrading Debian system to latest version (Trixie), with the backported
kernel,
we can notice a highly unusual amount of log lines stating "icmp: detected
local route for xx"
are present inside of dmesg.

This seem to be a similar issue to the one happening in an other bug report,
but which was linked to a much older kernel version (#1135514), and is now
considered resolved.

The problem also happens when running Debian Bookworm, and the latest
backported kernel versions. This is true for at least the version
"6.12.85+deb12-amd64" but is perhaps not limited to it.

I'm closing this issue now. In case you still are able to reproduce
please provide the above information and reopen this bug accordingly.
