Hi,

It may be a bit strange, but I am using a Debian amd64 kernel on an i386
installation. I have problems with my TV card, as the VIDIOCSWIN ioctl
always fail.

This is a bug in the 32/64-bit compat layer, a patch is available on
http://lkml.org/lkml/2005/12/19/35 . It has been merged in version
2.6.16rc1.

Note that this bug does not seems to be specific to i386/amd64, as the
person who wrote the patch did it for sparc64. It probably affects all
systems with a 64-bit kernel and a 32-bit userland, ie amd64, hppa64,
sparc64 and powerpc64.

Thanks,
Aurelien

Hello,

The last upload was an NMU only by accident. Closing the fixed bugs by
hand.
