The modules built from thinkpad-source require the inter_module_* functions. These have been deprecated but have been available throughout the Linux 2.6 series. As of 2.6.16 they are only available if CONFIG_OBSOLETE_INTERMODULE is set. I would like to ask now that CONFIG_OBSOLETE_INTERMODULE be set in Debian 2.6.16 kernels so that the thinkpad modules can continue to work. -- Thomas Hood
