Your case that... what?

That our users will be inconvenienced if we cannot support certain
hardware in the installer?  Yes, nobody has doubted this.

But you have not given any argument for why this should in this one
case override our principles, cause us to violate our own Social
Contract, and otherwise simply abandon what Debian stands for.
