If I can discover if this is indeed a kernel-package bug, I
might consider it. I am not sure how it could be; since the makefile
interpolates the image name into the postinst -- so a mismatch seems
impossible, at first glance.
Can one get /var/lib/dpkg/info/kernel-image-2.4.27-xxs1500.postinst?
Also, what version of kernel-package was used?
