The normal debian patch package and linux-2.6 source package contain
the xen patches. But you can't apply them with make-kpkg though.
You have to manualy invoke the apply script with --arch=amd64
--subarch=xen to get the extra xen patches applied. make-kpkg only
sets ENV varibales to that effect but does not pass them along as
arguments (and is right to do so).
I applied the 2.6.16.19 Xen patch at Alioth [1] by using this command:
patch -s -p1 < linux-2.6.16.19-xen2.0.2-hg9697.patch
Do you mean I should have patched with "--arch=amd64 --subarch=xen" or
that is only for the patch provided at the kernel source Debian package?
On the other hand, are the new patches going to be uploaded to Alioth
any time soon?
Thanks for your help.
