systemconfigurator was designed to be a generic way of configuring bootloaders, network settings, etc. It takes a more abstract config file and processes it into the appropriate arch/distro specific config file. I've always thought it would be nice to use it to abstract away specifics of bootloader configs to, e.g., provide a way for a package to drop in boot params, etc. Of course, its not something we can use to resolve this issue today. -- dann frazier -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
