Hi, I wonder how the kernel team works on new versions. 2.6.19.1 is latest stable version since 2006-12-11 according to kernel.org. I follow unstable and;
$ apt-cache search linux-source linux-patch-debian-2.6.18 - Debian patches to version 2.6.18 of the Linux kernel linux-source-2.6.18 - Linux kernel source for version 2.6.18 with Debian patches linux-tree-2.6.18 - Linux kernel source tree for building Debian kernel images So. I guess lots of devs are busy with the new debian version and so on. And I guess it takes som time to apply / verify "debian patches" on the new stable kernel version. So - a rough ETA of .19? I look forward to .19, I run on a VIA EPIA with vt1211 sensor chip. And .19 is the first kernel with official vt1211 support, so I dont have to patch it myself. regards, David Arvidsson -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
