The AMD Geode (tested with LX, but GX too) also does not support PAE and
cannot work with version 2.6.18-4 while 2.6.18-3 was fine.
This is for information only, as it's niche and the Geode doesn't
support Xen cleanly out of the box anyway (libc6-xen installs under
/lib/tls/i686 and although the Geode supports i686 the lib will only be
considered under /lib/tls/i586. Work around: copy it there).
In case some wonder what's the point of Xen on such a small CPU: having
separate external (web, ...) and internal (Samba, ...) domains for a
home server, on one single small fanless low power box. The Geode is
sufficiently fast for this. Network separation courtesy of OpenWRT, and
as some Geode systems have dual Ethernet you may not even need to play
with VLANs. Server consolidation at home ;)
For this kind of use, a VIA-based system will be less trouble now. The
Esther at least supports PAE, haven't checked previous models.
