Package: sound-juicer
Version: 0.6.1-2
Severity: normal
Hi,
I'm using sound-juicer to extract tracks from an USB CD drive, and the
extraction step takes very long. I've noticed that while sound-juicer
runs, the syslog fills up with lines such as
Apr 21 13:51:26 localhost kernel: sg_write: data in/out 30576/30576
bytes for SCSI command 0xbe--guessing data in;
Apr 21 13:51:26 localhost kernel: program sound-juicer not setting
count and/or reply_len properly
Apr 21 13:51:31 localhost kernel: printk: 86 messages suppressed.
Maybe this could explain why the extraction takes so long. I'm reporting
here, but maybe this bug belongs to gstreamer0.8-cdparanoia or even
cdparanoia itself.
Cheers,
