Hello, I think this is an upstream issue that is better handled by kernel.org - otherwise you can also try http://www.linuxdriverproject.org/twiki/bin/view(The Linux Driver Project) and if there are sufficient requests for linux drivers for your hardware, then it is likely that someone there will develop them for free.
