I've committed this to the etch branch and am running the patch on a local sparc system. However, I've never seen this problem myself and don't know how to reproduce it. Bernd, Can you provide reproduction instructions and/or verify the fix I've committed? A snapshot[1] build with this fix should appear within 24 hours - you'll need a build >= r9705.
