Hi

Is it normal for there to be many broken symbolic links under the /dev/.udev/db directory ?

eg
[EMAIL PROTECTED]@vcsa5 -> vcsa5
[EMAIL PROTECTED] -> md2
[EMAIL PROTECTED]@device-mapper -> mapper/control
[EMAIL PROTECTED] -> loop0
[EMAIL PROTECTED] -> ram0

Should I be concerned that so many of the symbolic links are pointing to files that do not exist ?

I'm running etch with the latest updates. My uname output is:
Linux jack 2.6.18-5-vserver-k7 #1 SMP Mon Dec 24 19:45:10 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux

I'm unfamiliar with the /dev/.udev feature, so apologies if this is a dumb question.

Regards,
Declan
