Package: rt73-modules-2.6.22-3-686 Version: 2.6.22+1.0.3.6-cvs20071013-4 Severity: normal
Edimax wireless network interface generally works except when I use rsync to copy large volumes of files off the machine (for backup purposes) I get a kernel panic. Rsyncing large volumes of files on to the machine doesn't seems to work ok. The following output was at bottom of screen: RTUSBBulkRxComplete+0x14/0x40 [rt73] SS:ESP 0068:f7de7cb8 Kernel panic not syncing plus traceback information that scrolled off. I believe this bug arose in the last few weeks. The rsync backup worked fine before that. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.22-3-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages rt73-modules-2.6.22-3-686 depends on: ii linux-image-2.6.22-3-686 [lin 2.6.22-6 Linux 2.6.22 image on PPro/Celeron rt73-modules-2.6.22-3-686 recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
