The problem with 228.57.2.23 is that it contains only -2.ucode file,
where my driver requires -1.ucode. An excerpt from /var/log/kern.log:
kernel: [191694.967537] firmware: requesting iwlwifi-4965-1.ucode
I don't know if -1 and -2 are required for different hardware or
different driver versions.
