Hi again! I've tested the patch Ayaz Abdulla written and attached to the bug report I've mentioned above, and it seems to fix the bug. See http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10487#c21 for the patch and other comments about it. Note that this patch seems not to be applied in 2.6.29-rc3.
