This bug currently shows two problems:
1. traceroute shows long times.
This may be a problem with the timing or the difference that ping uses
icmp while traceroute uses udp. As long as noone is able to show that
the network is not the culprit, I don't see a kernel bug.
Reassigning back.
2. ping output shows a granularity of 4ms
Well, it seems to use gettimeofday where the Open Group clearly says:
| The resolution of the system clock is unspecified.
However this is not the usual behaviour.
