I used version 2.6.28-2~snapshot.12968 and sound was still a bit screwed up. There is now a Headphone slider that controls the volume separately from the Master slider. Inserting headphones did disable the laptop's speakers, but then if I muted and unmuted the Master channel, the laptop's speakers came back to life even though the headphones were still plugged in. > > thanks -- Sam Morris <[email protected]> -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
