Hi, A revised kernel version came in to testing this weekend. I did some testing (i.e. removing all my stuff from /etc/modules) and can confirm that the kernel now does set aes_x86_64 as the highest priority on the amd64 build, so this means this wishlist request has been met and I recommend the bug be closed :)
