First I hope it is correct to report bugs against this kernel that is
not in the usual repositories (it is taken from

USB Keyboard Microsoft Natural 4000 is not working with this kernel
version, but it does work with the kernel from unstable
"linux-image-2.6.26-1-amd64". By not functioning I mean that nothing
happens no matter what buttons I press. The computer is an "Asus PRO72S"
laptop. Other USB devices like a mouse do work, and everything else from
the laptop functions correctly.

I would recommend to use the current 2.6.30 kernel from unstable/testing,
since older versions contain a trivially exploitable local root exploit.
